The article "Don't Make English Official - Ban It Instead" by Dennis Baron focuses on congress is considering legislation of making English the official language of the United State. I know that in many countries’ 2nd official language is an English and the 1st International language is an English. So, Dennis Baron’s idea was ban English instead in the United States. The main concentration of Dennis is the countries’ security, tradition and independence. Also, one of his reasons was many people do not even know how to properly write, read, or even speak English. He is right because broken English is everywhere but his idea is not good one also. I don’t think many Americans do speak 2nd languages because they don’t need to learn it.
